Thirteen rules every ZAVOS member, in every city, agrees to follow. Local rules may add to these — never loosen them.
1. Nobody Under 19
No one under the age of 19 may become a member by any route. This line holds without exception and without negotiation.
2. Consent Comes First
Every touch rests on active, explicit consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any moment, with no reason given, and the moment it is withdrawn all contact stops immediately and unconditionally. Silence or a vague answer is not consent — read it as no. For how this works in practice, read the safeword page.
3. No Identifying Information
We collect nothing that can identify you — no real name, no phone number. The only thing we ever ask for is an email address. Members know each other by nickname only. Your nickname must be created for this place alone — a nickname you already use on any other service cannot be used here. Photos appear exactly once, in your application review, seen only by the staff reviewing it, and are never displayed anywhere.
4. Photography by Permission Only
Recording at gatherings — photo, video, or audio — is forbidden as a rule. Only someone granted advance permission by staff may take photographs, and only on the condition that no face appears. The host may collect and hold phones and other devices at the start of a gathering.
5. Site Chat Only
All real-time communication happens in ZAVOS chat — text only. Never expose your phone number, even to someone you already trust.
6. No Private Socializing Outside Gatherings
Private social contact between members outside official gatherings is not allowed. It breaks anonymity, breeds cliques and conflict, and members who pair off stop showing up. The only exception is people who already knew each other before joining — for instance, those who came in together through a referral.
7. STD/STI Testing Required
Attending any gathering requires STD/STI test results, shown in person to your city staff. Only tests taken within one month are valid. Black out or cover your name and national ID number on the printed results before bringing them. Asking to see results is not suspicion but respect for each other's bodies, and the check always runs both ways.
On condoms — over hours of repeated friction with multiple partners, a condom can still leave a woman in pain. So we secure safety through testing, not latex. Within what testing has confirmed, we favor sex without condoms — and in exchange, prepare thoroughly for contraception.
8. No Red at Official Parties
At gatherings hosted officially by staff (Official parties), anything classified at the highest risk tier (Red) is forbidden. Freedom at the edge of risk belongs outside the official setting, on each person's own responsibility.
9. Strictly Non-Profit
Staff serve unpaid. As a rule every cost is shared equally among participants. Money moves between people, never through the platform. Nobody profits from this community.
10. Respect Manner Temperature and Peer Review
Members respect the manner temperature and peer review system and accept the trust it produces. Staff decisions rest on that system and its procedures rather than on personal whim — and staff are not exempt from being rated themselves.
11. Leaving Is Free
Joining was your choice; so is leaving. Guilt-tripping someone who wants to leave, or imposing any penalty on them, is forbidden permanently. There is no retaliation.
12. One Membership, Every City
Full members may join gatherings in any city in the world. Contact the local city staff through the site.
13. One Global Charter
Every city follows the same global constitution. Local rules can only be stricter — never looser.
